ATM Card
ATM Card - Our ATM Card is there when you need it to complete a variety of transactions without having to come directly to South Sound Bank. You can withdraw, deposit, or transfer funds from any ATM that displays the PLUS, Honor or Star system logos.
VISA Debit
The VISA Debit Card is faster, more economical, more convenient and just plain easier than using your conventional checkbook. Our VISA Check Card allows you to withdraw, deposit or transfer funds from any ATM, but you also can use your VISA Check Card anywhere VISA is accepted. The charge will then appear on your monthly checking account statement and will include the date, location and amount of every transaction you've made.
Credit Cards - Consumer
We make it easy to choose the credit that is right for you, including Visa, MasterCard Gold, Platinum Visa and Visa Flex Miles Cards that reward you with free airline miles.
These cards are accepted worldwide at businesses, financial institutions and ATM's displaying the CIRRUS logo. Apply today. Fill out the application and mail it directly to Card Service Center, PO Box 569130, Dallas TX 75356-8999 or bring to your branch of account for processing. South Sound Bank contracts with a third party vendor to process our credit card applications. Please allow 10 business days for your application to be processed.
Credit Cards - Business
Business' now have the option to choose a flex miles card that has a low annual fee or a non-mileage card with no annual fee. Pay your balance off every month to avoid a finance charge or make a partial payment when you need to manage cash flow. Customized credit lines that you decide how much employees are authorized to access. Cards are accepted worldwide wherever Visa is displayed. Just fill out an application and mail it directly to Card Service Center, PO Box 569130, Dallas TX 75356-8999 or bring to your branch of account for processing. Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit is a safe and convenient way to have your payroll, Social Security or retirement check automatically deposited to your South Sound Bank personal checking or savings account.
Safe Deposit Box - located at all of branch locations
Protect your valuables and important papers with a Safe Deposit Box. Safe Deposit Boxes are available in a variety of sizes to include 3x5, 3x10, 5x10 and 10x10. We offer our Charter and Gold customers a 30% discount.
Night Depository
Our Night Depository is available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The Night Depository is accessible through our drive-up to provide you safety and convenience by not having to get out of your vehicle. Simply put your deposit in an envelope and the deposit will be processed on the next business day.
Wire Transfers
Wire transfers provide a fast and secure way to send and receive money. There is a nominal fee and in most instances the money is received the same day.
Travelers Cheques
Travelers Cheques are a safe way to carry cash while you are on vacations or a business trip. South Sound Bank offers American Express Travelers' Cheques in $20, $50 and $100 denominations. We offer our Charter and Gold customers Travelers Checks with no fee with the exception of Cheques for Two.
Overdraft Protection
Want to avoid those costly overdraft charges? South Sound Bank offers two ways to accomplish this. The first way uses your own money and transfers automatically from one account to another. The second way is to establish an Overdraft Protection Line of Credit. Call our loan department for more information on qualifying for this product.
Merchant Services
For our business customers, we offer a merchant service program that enables you to accept VISA and MasterCard transactions from your customers. Credit card processing is done with a third party vendor who has been providing merchant card services since 1993. With that in mind, you will need to read and adhere to the terms and policies of their contact. Contact your branch to discuss how you can get set up to accept credit card services either via phone, electronic terminal or through your website. You can purchase equipment or lease it, depending on your needs. Our rates are competitive and you are not locked into a long term contract.
Deluxe Check Ordering
A wide variety of designs and products are available for purchase from Deluxe.

Change of Address
To ensure the security of your personal information, your signature is required to change your address. Print, complete and drop off the Change of Address form at your local branch or mail it to us at any of our locations.

Is Internet Banking safe?
Yes, South Sound Bank has taken extra precautions to ensure that your financial information is safe and secure. We do that by having you log in with an access ID and password. For enhanced security, we ask you for three challenge questions and a pass phrase. These security devices are used to make sure you and your computer have proper access to the online banking system. You also choose from a private computer or public computer. When choosing private, you will not be asked the challenge question each time you login. The private option puts a cookie on the computer to help with making sure you are the person that has access to the computer. If you choose public, you will have to answer challenge questions.
